Domotex 2012, 14 -17 january.
To our great joy we can announce that one of our carpets, exhibited at the Domotex in Hannover,
has won the "Carpet Design Award 2012" in the category old and antique carpets.
This exceptional carpet was knotted by the Tekke, a Turkmen nomadic tribe that, at that time, lived
in the area between the Aral Sea and the Caspian Sea.
The carpet dates from before 1800 and was, given its complex border and design, most likely knotted for a
special family occasion.
